Latinx Pre-Law Society
I'm looking to find students that would be interested in starting a Latinx Pre-Law Society to support Terps interested in attending law school. As an immigrant and first-generation college student that grew up in a low-income household in Langley Park, a LatinX Pre-Law Society would have helped me navigate the law school application process. I've been practicing law for the past 16 years and want to help and guide future Terp lawyers. If interested, please email Juan Sempertegui at juan.m.sempertegui@gmail.com

Interested in being an MC for La Celebracion Latina?
La Celebración Latina (LCL), organized by MICA, a commemoration that highlights Latinx students who have completed their degree requirements at UMD, will be held in the Colony Ballroom in the Stamp Student Union on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023 at 6 PM this year!
I am reaching out to see if you would be interested in being one of the MC's for this event? Or if you know of other student members who would be interested, let them know of the opportunity too and have them reach out to me! There is a script provided, and we would present the ceremony in both English and Spanish. Dinner will also be provided as well. Please let me know by 11/23. If you have any questions feel free to reach out. Thanks!
