The first sip of a holiday drink feels like crossing a seasonal threshold.Â
On November 6, Starbucks officially launched its 2025 Holiday Menu, a lineup that blends beloved classics, new treats, and this year’s most photogenic collection of seasonal merchandise yet.Â
At Starbucks, the holidays have officially begun.Â
This season, fan favorites are back in full force: the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Iced Sugar Cookie Latte, and Iced Gingerbread Chai all return to the menu. Later this season, the long-missed Chestnut Praline Latte and Eggnog Latte will also make a comeback, completing the lineup of familiar winter staples.Â
There’s something timeless about the first swirl of whipped cream on a Peppermint Mocha or the toasted sugar aroma of a Caramel Brulée Latte, both symbolic of the brand’s ability to turn routine into tradition.Â
But no holiday visit is complete without something from the pastry case.Â
Returning favorites like the Cranberry Bliss Bar, Snowman Cookie, and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish are joined by the new Polar Bear Cake Pop and a Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread that’s destined to be a morning favorite. Each of these items leans into cozy, familiar flavors designed to pair beautifully with any latte.
Alongside the menu launch, Starbucks has unveiled a festive Holiday Merchandise Collection that feels more elevated than ever. New sparkling metallic tumblers and soft pastels are joined by a few new soon-to-be favorites.Â
The Glass Bearista Cold Cup, a transparent bear wearing a green beanie, the Golden Poinsettia Mug, and the Red Ribbon Tumbler are each designed with gift-giving in mind.Â
This year also brings a playful Hello Kitty collaboration, complete with mugs, tumblers, and a plush Hello Kitty in a Starbucks apron.Â
What’s impressive about Starbucks’ holiday rollout isn’t just its consistency, it’s how the brand manages to turn a product launch into a celebrated event. The scents, colors, textures, and soundscape of the cafe all shift during the holidays.
Whether you’re a student studying between classes, or a partner behind the bar steaming milk through the morning rush, the change feels tangible.Â
As a barista, I notice how early-morning regulars light up at the first sight of red cups, and as a journalist, it’s fascinating to see how a global brand can translate something as personal as comfort into a visual and tasteful language everyone recognizes. Â
This year’s Starbucks Holiday Menu is less about reinvention and more about refinement. It’s a thoughtful curation of what customers love most, reimagined just enough to feel new. Â
The drinks are familiar, the packaging feels elevated, and the new merchandise offers new collaborations to keep things interesting.
Whether you’re sipping a Peppermint Mocha during your study session, photographing the new Bearista Cold Cup for your feed, or collecting a Red Cup for the shelf, this launch delivers exactly what it promises: comfort, community, and a little sparkle of holiday joy.
